Operations Team Lead

About the role

You will oversee the main compliance workflows for a drug and alcohol consortium serving trucking companies. You will lead the team members who manage these processes daily, including random testing, renewals, and customer service for consortium members.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee random testing from selection to completion and report refusals to the FMCSA Clearinghouse.
• Manage renewals, contact past‑due accounts and recommend cancellations for non‑renewed accounts.
• Handle customer service inquiries via help‑desk tickets, texts, and voicemail.
• Maintain the driver pool, manage new enrollments and oversee SAP (return‑to‑duty) cases.
• Perform SAFER / carrier status checks and keep the testing schedule moving with direct outreach.

Required profile

• Real experience leading a small operations team.
• Experience following regulated processes and making difficult compliance decisions.
• Comfort working remotely and a strong sense of follow‑through.
