Branch Manager – Maerua Mall

About the role

The Branch Manager will lead, guide and coach staff to execute the bank’s business strategy, delivering banking solutions to the market segment served by Maerua Mall. The role focuses on providing client‑centric experiences that build sustainable relationships while meeting business targets and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the team delivers targeted products and services and meets quality and turnaround standards.
• Understand and respond to clients' business, personal and household needs.
• Apply the bank’s risk and credit policies and manage client expectations accordingly.
• Continuously improve team efficiency, effectiveness and adherence to timelines.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and trust in Nedbank’s capabilities.
• Lead teams in managing client contacts, uncovering sales opportunities and creating client advocates.
• Support teams to deliver high‑quality client engagements and resolve escalated complaints swiftly.
• Ensure compliance with risk standards by completing required training and monitoring team compliance.
• Mentor and coach staff, manage performance, review work output and take corrective action where needed.
• Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and informed decision‑making.
