SMP Supervisor – Construction Management

About the role

Lycopodium Minerals Namibia is seeking an experienced SMP Supervisor to lead material movement and construction activities on a mineral processing project. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will work with a multinational team of experts and local staff to ensure the project stays on schedule and meets quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the quality of output from site teams, ensuring compliance with client, regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate procedures, work practices, plans and protocols to enable efficient site operations.
• Oversee material movement and logistics to keep the project on schedule.
• Develop and maintain the technical competency of the site team.
• Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, community, industrial relations and quality plans.

Required profile

• Technical qualification in Construction/Engineering (desirable) or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in construction management and supervision, preferably in mineral processing projects.
• Namibian citizenship.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently while delivering high‑quality results within budget and schedule constraints.
