About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Surveyor Assistant at our operation in Walvis Bay, Namibia. The role provides practical surveying support to the site Surveyor, focusing on field execution, data capture, and equipment assistance to ensure safe and efficient mining operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Surveyor in collecting, verifying, and recording accurate spatial data.
• Support field execution of surveying tasks and operate surveying equipment.
• Contribute to mine planning, production control, and statutory compliance through reliable data provision.
• Maintain and calibrate surveying tools and ensure proper documentation of measurements.
