Sales Manager – Central Region

About the role

The Sales Manager for the Central Region will support and enable the sales team to meet client expectations, improve service efficiency, and manage the overall client experience. Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, this role is pivotal in driving sales growth within the Namibian insurance market.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the business plan set by the Regional Manager and align operational processes with regional marketing initiatives.
• Identify new sales areas, opportunities, threats, and environmental influences to increase market penetration.
• Recruit, select, and develop a highly motivated sales team in line with company procedures.
• Optimize product range production through collaboration with Financial Advisors.
• Develop and execute the branch sales plan and budget.
• Continuously generate new business and execute joint field work with Financial Advisors.
• Perform ad‑hoc tasks related to sales operations as required.

Required profile

• Grade 12 education minimum.
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Management, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in sales and distribution.
• 3–5 years of people‑management experience.
• Understanding of the Namibian insurance industry and a clean credit record.
• Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
