About the role

DP World SSA is seeking a Finance Graduate to join its Grow Programme. This entry‑level position focuses on customs and tariff management, supporting both import and export operations while developing a solid foundation in finance and accounting.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately frame entries and allocate correct tariff classifications to commodities.
• Audit commodity invoices and supporting documents to ensure compliance with customs and statutory requirements.
• Prepare and submit import and export declarations, coordinating with regulatory authorities and Operations Controllers.
• Register customs declarations using the Ayscuda system and maintain organized tracking lists of transactions.
• Arrange duty payments and provide guidance on potential risks before commodity declarations.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert for customs‑related queries and collaborate with Operations Controllers on solutions.
• Lead and develop an engaged team, promoting DP World’s values and safety standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field with at least a 65% pass mark.
• No prior formal work experience required – ideal for recent graduates.

Required skills

• Experience with the Ayscuda customs declaration system.
