Designer – Laser Cutting & CNC Production

About the role

We are looking for a creative Designer to join our team in Windhoek. The role focuses on turning client ideas, logos and drawings into production‑ready digital files for laser cutting, engraving, CNC machining and marking.

Key responsibilities

• Develop 2D and 3D concepts using Fusion 360 and Adobe design tools.
• Create and optimise files for LightBurn and CNC machines, ensuring correct dimensions and material suitability.
• Check artwork for accuracy, cleanliness and readiness for machine operation.
• Collaborate with the production team to adjust designs, set up layouts and minimise material waste.
• Translate customer requirements into final products while maintaining high quality standards.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and creativity.
• Good communication skills to work with clients and production staff.
• Understanding of laser cutting, engraving and CNC manufacturing processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Fusion 360.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Knowledge of LightBurn software for laser operations.
