Card Liaison Officer

About the role

FNB is looking for a Card Liaison Officer to deliver exceptional service to business and fleet credit‑card clients. You will be responsible for driving sales, managing existing accounts, and expanding the active card portfolio while ensuring a seamless client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide prompt, high‑quality service to customers, understanding their needs and processing requests efficiently.
• Apply sales processes to meet and exceed unit sales targets.
• Convert leads into active accounts and grow the card portfolio to achieve annual targets.
• Increase card utilisation, issue additional cards, and manage limit enhancements.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of fleet and business credit‑card products, pricing, and application procedures.
• Identify cross‑selling opportunities and strengthen overall client relationships.
• Ensure accurate reporting, pipeline management, and compliance with governance, legislative, credit, and audit requirements.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in sales, credit‑card or financial‑services environments.
• Strong negotiation and closing abilities with a value‑based selling approach.
