Workshop Manager – Windhoek

About the role

Reporting to the Chief Transport Officer, the Workshop Manager will be based at our Lafrenz Depot in Windhoek, overseeing the maintenance and repair of the company’s vehicle fleet.

Key responsibilities

• Effective and efficient management of fleet maintenance and repairs of all company vehicles.
• Managing the workshop and wash‑bay staff, including performance management, quality control, training needs and discipline.
• Cost control management and compilation of the annual workshop budget.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety and risk policies.
• Managing the maintenance of workshop equipment.
• Co‑ordinating and managing call‑outs and accident scenes.
• Performing any other duties in line with the responsibilities of a Workshop Manager.

Required profile

• Grade 12 education.
• N6 technical qualification with a valid trade certificate.
• At least 15 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role.
• Police clearance certificate (not older than 3 months) with no criminal record.
• Attention to detail and strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Customer‑focused, presentable with good communication skills.
• Hard‑working individual with sober habits.
• Valid CE driver’s licence.
• Computer literacy.
• Namibian citizenship.
