Trainee Financial Advisor

About the role

Momentum Metropolitan is looking for a Trainee Financial Advisor to join its team in Windhoek. The role focuses on attracting, acquiring and retaining clients by offering tailored financial products and advice, supporting the company’s growth and long‑term viability.

Key responsibilities

• Engage prospective clients, present product features and benefits aligned with their financial wellness needs.
• Conduct affordability analyses and recommend suitable products to help clients achieve their financial goals.
• Calculate and advise on tax and legal implications of product choices.
• Accurately capture client information, sales actions and complete administrative and reporting tasks within set timeframes.
• Meet production, quality and conversion targets while adhering to compliance and legislative requirements.
• Investigate client queries, provide timely feedback and escalate issues when necessary.
• Deliver regular reports on service delivery and client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in a financial advice role (13 years desirable).
• Bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning, Business, Finance, Economics or equivalent.
• Certificate of proficiency in Insurance or equivalent qualification.
• Relevant legislative/regulatory exams and licensing, such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) registration.
• Strong communication, planning and influencing abilities.
