Shift Supervisors (2 positions) – Windhoek

About the role

We are seeking two Shift Supervisors for our Jet.X operations in Windhoek. Reporting to the Depot Manager, you will oversee safe and efficient loading and off‑loading of consignments, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise loading and off‑loading, ensuring safe handling of fragile and high‑value items.
• Coordinate daily with the Operations Manager on truck availability and schedules.
• Conduct preload checks, inspect vehicle neatness and report defects.
• Assess weight distribution to meet load limits and prevent shifts.
• Verify goods against freight lists and delivery notes, manage discrepancies and damages.
• Submit detailed loading reports and incident documentation.
• Supervise, train and discipline staff according to company policies.
• Ensure loading equipment is serviced, certified and compliant.
• Enforce health, safety, quality and operational policy adherence.

Required profile

• Valid Grade 12 certificate.
• 3–5 years supervisory experience, preferably in transport.
• C1 driver’s licence (forklift licence is an advantage).
• Police clearance certificate issued within the last three months.
• Proven computer skills with SAP experience.
• Ability to manage a medium‑sized team.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Afrikaans.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to work demanding shifts, including weekends and rotating day/night shifts.
• Namibian citizenship.
