Salaried Financial Advisor – OMAO

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a motivated Salaried Financial Advisor to join its OMAO team. You will provide expert advice on a range of financial products to an allocated market, delivering high‑quality service while driving new business and client retention.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver quality service to customers, identifying opportunities for new business and supporting retention.
• Process cases, handle complex queries, investigate and resolve customer problems.
• Analyze issues to propose technical or professional solutions.
• Receive visitors, manage information requests, and refer complex matters to colleagues.
• Schedule follow‑up actions, record interactions in the CRM system, and create call plans.
• Set clear objectives for each sales call, tailor presentations for decision‑makers, and gather relevant information.
• Develop and implement relationship‑management plans for potential accounts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory codes, and obtain necessary authorisations.
• Monitor sales and market data for a specific geographic region to identify growth opportunities.
• Build a personal network, represent the organization at sector events, and gather market intelligence.
• Conduct research using primary data sources and business‑intelligence tools.

Required profile

• Namibian citizenship.
• Grade 12 with commercial or business‑related subjects and at least 3 years of experience as an insurance intermediary or in financial services, OR Grade 10 with commercial subjects and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
