Professional Engineer

About the role

The Professional Engineer will join the Roads & Highway division in Namibia, reporting to the Section Manager. The role provides independent engineering services across multidisciplinary projects, ensuring high‑quality design, delivery and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Produce engineering designs, drawings and models using Autodesk Civil 3D, CAD platforms and BIM workflows.
• Prepare clear technical reports and documentation of acceptable quality.
• Review and take professional responsibility for the work of engineers and technicians.
• Supervise inspections of constructed works, verify compliance with designs and standards, and recommend remedial actions.
• Support project budgets, resource planning, contract administration, variation orders and claim assessments.
• Coordinate and mentor junior engineers, technicians and sub‑consultants.
• Communicate technical matters with clients, present work internally and externally, and contribute to bids and proposals.
