Permanent Sales Assistant – Retail (Grove Mall, Windhoek)

About the role

Join Le Creuset’s retail team at Grove Mall in Windhoek and help customers create memorable kitchen moments. As a Permanent Sales Assistant you will deliver exceptional service, drive sales, and support the smooth operation of the store.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, guiding product selection and converting opportunities to meet sales targets.
• Handle queries and complaints, providing resolutions that leave customers satisfied.
• Promote products using company sales techniques and advise on product care and use.
• Process sales transactions efficiently, following till procedures and ensuring accurate cash handling.
• Assist with merchandising, store layout, and visual presentation to maximise sales.
• Place and follow up on regular and special orders.
• Participate in stocktaking and ensure accurate paperwork.
• Support receiving and sorting of stock deliveries, completing required documentation.
• Maintain health, safety, and security standards as per company policy.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a retail or service environment.
• Basic numeracy and literacy qualifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel at a basic level.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong selling skills and interest in cooking.
• Availability to work typical retail trading hours, including evenings and public holidays.
