Licensing Officer – Windhoek

About the role

The Licensing Officer will manage all licensing matters for the fleet at the FP Depot in Windhoek. Reporting to the Cross Border Manager, the role ensures timely renewals, compliance with NATIS regulations and smooth processing of new and used vehicle registrations.

Key responsibilities

• Compile and maintain an up‑to‑date fleet list, aligning it with NATIS renewal notices.
• Coordinate timely license renewals for trucks, trailers and new acquisitions, including securing new license disks.
• Prepare and submit roadworthy (COF) forms to NATIS and handle related payments.
• Process licensing for newly purchased or second‑hand vehicles, verifying customs documents and police clearance.
• Collect and reconcile cross‑border MDC sheets, and support diesel administration for the Cross Border Department.

Required profile

• Namibian citizen with at least Grade 12 education.
• Minimum three years experience as a licensing officer.
• Valid Code CE driver’s licence and recent police clearance (≤3 months).
• Strong organisational, planning and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with high integrity.
