Inventory Planning Manager

About the role

The Inventory Planning Manager will lead the analysis of stock levels and develop optimal replenishment plans to ensure on‑time, in‑full availability of inventory for production and distribution. This role supports operational effectiveness, customer satisfaction, risk reduction, profitability and compliance with relevant policies.

Key responsibilities

• Define, implement and manage end‑to‑end standard operating procedures for inventory planning.
• Monitor progress against operational plans, report variances and adjust actions as needed.
• Develop and execute plans with clear milestones and priorities to meet operational objectives.
• Lead initiatives that drive customer service excellence.
• Oversee workforce planning, recruitment, learning, performance management, reward, recognition and employee relations.
• Foster an engaging and productive work climate aligned with the employee value proposition.
• Manage operational risk and implement mitigation strategies.
• Track and report budget variances to maximise financial performance.

Required profile

• Up to 8 years of experience in a similar environment, with at least 5 years in operational leadership or specialist roles.
• Proven ability to manage budgeting and cost control.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles.
• Experience in business and operations management.
• Demonstrated people‑management and development capabilities.
• Familiarity with labour‑relations procedures.
