HR Business Partner

About the role

Nors, a company with a 90-year history operating in seven countries with more than 100 units, is looking for an HR Business Partner to join its Human Resource team in Windhoek. The role manages the company's HR processes and initiatives and works closely with operational teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage HR processes and initiatives, including end-to-end recruitment and selection (advertising, interviews, assessments, reference checks, onboarding)
• Present salary proposals in line with the compensation policy and manage hiring and dismissal flows
• Administer compensation, benefits and payroll inputs accurately
• Maintain accurate HR records and employee data, keeping data integrity and confidentiality
• Coordinate training and development through needs analysis, training plans and administration
• Monitor employee engagement and wellbeing through climate surveys, branch visits and engagement activities
• Promote a positive workplace culture and partner with benefits providers, labour representatives, training institutions and regulators
• Support health and safety programmes with operational teams and service providers
• Collect HR indicators regularly and prepare monthly HR reports

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
• Higher education degree and/or 3 to 5 years of proven experience in similar roles
• Knowledge of Namibian labour legislation
• Valid driver's licence (code B) with a good driving record
• Self-driven, organised, able to work under pressure and in a multicultural environment

Required skills

• Familiarity with HR systems; Sage Pastel and SuccessFactors are an advantage
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Analytical problem solving, attention to detail and good technical skills
