Forklift & Stacker Operator

About the role

DP World is seeking a reliable Forklift and Stacker Operator to handle power‑driven mobile hoists and forklift trucks with a lifting capacity exceeding 6,000 kg. You will be responsible for loading, unloading, moving and stacking goods or containers in a warehouse environment while adhering to standard operating procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Report any safety, environmental or public‑impact concerns immediately.
• Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvement.
• Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse at all times.
• Load trucks correctly to prevent damage during delivery.
• Ensure the correct stock is loaded for each customer.
• Pack pallets accurately when they enter the store and keep them sorted.
• Apply FIFO principles consistently.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 education.
• Valid Forklift License.
• Ability to communicate in English and Afrikaans.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects.
• Basic reading and writing skills.
• Willingness to work overtime.
• Eligibility to work in the country of employment.
