Forklift Driver – Windhoek

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Forklift Driver to join our team at the Brakwater depot in Windhoek. The role involves safe handling of goods and supporting various warehouse operations, including sorting, labeling and basic maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Safely load, unload and move goods using a forklift.
• Assist with sorting, picking, verifying and storing parcels by waybill number.
• Label parcels with barcoded stickers.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report any issues immediately.
• Report any freight damage caused by forklift handling.
• Conduct basic forklift maintenance tasks.
• Follow all Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements.
• Carry out other general duties related to forklift operation.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 10 qualification with at least 23 points.
• 1–2 years of experience operating a forklift.
• Valid forklift driving licence and operator’s card.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Basic maintenance knowledge and understanding of transport, warehousing and storage operations.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.
• No criminal record; police clearance not older than 3 months.
• Namibian citizenship and sober habits.
