Financial Advisor – Salaried (OMAO)

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a motivated Financial Advisor to join its team in Namibia. The role is salaried and focuses on delivering high‑quality service to customers while identifying new business opportunities and supporting client retention.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional service to customers, processing cases and resolving complex queries.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities and support retention initiatives.
• Enter accurate information into the CRM system after each customer interaction and develop call plans.
• Conduct sales calls and presentations tailored to decision‑makers, gathering information to assess interest.
• Develop and implement relationship‑management plans for potential accounts.
• Monitor sales and market data for a defined geographic region and provide insights to management.
• Represent Old Mutual at business sector events and gather market intelligence.
• Research and analyse market trends using primary data sources and business intelligence tools.

Required profile

• Namibian citizenship.
• Grade 12 with at least 21 points, including commercial or business‑related subjects.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as an insurance intermediary or in a related financial‑services role.
• Clear criminal and credit check.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a professional image.
• Strong planning, organising and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Computer literacy with proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
• Experience using a CRM system for data entry and customer management.
