Customer Experience Agent

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Experience Agent (JL2) to join our team in Walvis Bay, Namibia. The role involves delivering exceptional customer experiences while supporting Maersk’s integrated logistics and supply chain solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end shipment process for small/mid‑sized customers in compliance with company procedures.
• Ensure timely resolution of customer issues by engaging relevant internal stakeholders.
• Handle a customer portfolio, perform financial follow‑up and maintain business knowledge.
• Respond promptly to daily emails and calls, providing excellent customer service.
• Coordinate ocean shipments and logistics while processing required documentation.
• Build strong relationships with offshore GSC teams and other stakeholders to ensure smooth shipment execution.
• Demonstrate problem‑solving, critical thinking and strong interpersonal communication.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in customer service within freight forwarding and logistics.
• Customer‑centric mindset with strong teamwork orientation.
• Fluency in English.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and experience working with multiple systems.
• Problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
