Culture and Capability Consultant

About the role

As a Culture and Capability Consultant at FNB, you will bring the Point of Presence strategy to life by turning strategic intent and values into observable, everyday behaviours. You will shape a unified culture that drives customer obsession, empowered leadership, accountability and high performance across all environments.

Key responsibilities

• Translate strategy and values into defined, observable behaviours embedded in daily decision‑making, leadership practices and customer interactions.
• Design, maintain and continuously refine behavioural frameworks that guide leaders and employees.
• Diagnose culture gaps using engagement data, leadership diagnostics, customer feedback, complaints and operational friction indicators, providing root‑cause analysis and prioritised interventions.
• Design and deliver culture capability interventions such as workshops, leadership toolkits, practical playbooks and applied learning experiences.
• Embed sustainable culture rituals and recognition mechanisms that reinforce customer‑first behaviour, teamwork, accountability and service excellence.
• Establish culture and engagement metrics, dashboards and governance routines to track progress and hold leaders accountable.
• Partner with leadership to integrate culture expectations into routines, meetings, decision forums and performance conversations.
• Continuously review and improve interventions to link culture, performance outcomes, customer experience and employee ownership.

Required profile

• Proven ability to translate strategic intent into concrete, observable behaviours.
• Strong analytical skills to diagnose culture gaps and propose data‑driven interventions.
• Experience designing and delivering capability programmes, workshops and toolkits.
• Excellent influencing and communication skills to engage and inspire teams and leaders.
• Ability to establish metrics, dashboards and governance processes for culture initiatives.
