HR Consultant (Namibia)

About the role

The HR Consultant provides first‑line HR advice and support across all HR disciplines within the shared services model, ensuring a high‑quality employee experience for all TFG divisions and brands in Namibia. The role works closely with line managers, employees and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver efficient first‑line call resolution and superior service to employees.
• Manage talent acquisition activities including sourcing, screening, assessment coordination and placement.
• Provide employee‑relations advice and support, and handle reporting requirements.
• Oversee onboarding processes and contribute to project work.
• Advise on performance, transformation, organisational development, reward and benefits matters.
• Ensure compliance with policies, service‑level agreements and quality standards.
• Support line managers and employees in using self‑service HR tools and maintain accurate employee data.

Required profile

• HR or related degree (essential).
• 2–3 years of HR experience, including use of the NIEIS system.
• Cross‑functional HR knowledge and a strong customer‑service mindset.
• Experience in a shared‑services environment is advantageous.
• Understanding of the TFG business context and continuous‑improvement orientation.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and spreadsheet expertise.
• Business Process Modeling (BPM) and gap‑analysis capabilities.
• Proficiency with HR systems and related tools.
• Presentation creation and reporting skills.
• Change‑management and employee‑relations knowledge.
