Courier – Reliable Delivery Specialist

About the role

DHL is seeking motivated couriers to ensure safe, secure and on‑time delivery of mail, parcels and legal documents across various locations. You will operate within city or industrial areas, handling a range of items while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver documents and packages at service points following established procedures.
• Collect, sort, and securely store internal and external mail, ensuring confidentiality.
• Drive between destinations, study traffic patterns and choose optimal routes to meet delivery timelines.
• Check and deliver material to the correct consignee, handling mis‑addressed items appropriately.
• Draft receipts, verify orders and collect payment for deliveries.
• Operate a scanner to record shipping information for all items handled.
• Inspect loading units and vehicles for appearance, technical and operational compliance.
• Undertake preventive vehicle maintenance and perform minor in‑transit repairs.

Required profile

• Vocational or technical certification.
• Less than 2 years of courier or related experience.
• Valid driving licence.

Required skills

• Operation of handheld scanners for shipment tracking.
• Use of route‑planning technology and navigation tools.
• Basic vehicle maintenance and minor repair skills.
