Consulting Administrator (Temporary)

About the role

The Consulting Administrator provides essential administrative and operational support to the Corporate Segment Consulting Team, ensuring smooth servicing of Orion Namibia Retirement Funds, GAP schemes, employers, members and intermediaries.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare meeting agendas, packs, presentations and minutes, and schedule appointments for the Consulting Team.
• Maintain client and fund documentation, capture and update records, and assist with quotations, GAP quotes and Annual Rate Review documents.
• Support the collection, submission and distribution of monthly reports, member and employer communications, and follow‑up on outstanding information.
• Coordinate correspondence, manage electronic and physical filing, and provide logistical support for client meetings, training sessions and consulting engagements.
• Liaise with internal OMCS teams to ensure timely completion of administrative requirements and resolve client queries.

Required profile

• Namibian citizen with Grade 12 (minimum 25 points); a business, commerce, administration or marketing qualification is advantageous.
• Previous administrative experience in financial services, insurance or retirement funds.
• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
• Professional, reliable, service‑oriented and able to maintain confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Computer literacy and basic database administration.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English.
