Client Service Consultant

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a Client Service Consultant to deliver exceptional service to our customers, promote product usage, and support the growth of our financial solutions across Namibia.

Key responsibilities

• Provide detailed product and portfolio information to customers and intermediaries.
• Process benefit payments and customer orders within SLA parameters.
• Perform routine administrative tasks, including follow‑ups and policy updates.
• Maintain accurate client records while adhering to quality and procedural standards.
• Meet daily production, service, and quality targets in line with company values.
• Handle customer queries, complaints and escalations with meticulous attention to guidelines.
• Enter and update relevant data in the CRM system.
• Make outbound calls to prospective customers to develop relationships and generate leads.
• Continuously develop product knowledge and technical skills through training and coaching.

Required profile

• Namibian citizenship.
• Grade 12 qualification with a minimum of 25 points.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience.
• Computer literate with strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Analytical mindset and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed business targets consistently.
• Ability to work under pressure while remaining professional.
• Team‑building attitude, positive outlook, and passion for customer relationship building.
• Knowledge of local vernacular is an advantage.
