Training & Organisational Development Officer

About the role

Rent‑A‑Drum Namibia is seeking a disciplined and detail‑oriented professional to lead training and organisational development initiatives. The role combines HR expertise with a focus on sustainability, operational excellence, and people development.

Key responsibilities

• Support organisational design, job evaluations and role clarity.
• Coordinate performance management, employee engagement, succession planning and culture programmes.
• Manage workplace safety standards and conduct Job Safety Analyses.
• Develop, implement and maintain HR policies, ensuring compliance with labour laws.
• Identify training needs, design and deliver learning solutions including workshops, e‑learning and coaching.
• Maintain accurate HR records, compile data‑driven reports and assist with onboarding, recruitment and inductions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in training and development.
• Proven ability to design and deliver successful training programmes.
• Experience with performance management, employee engagement and change management.
• Strong analytical, organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Valid driver’s licence, own vehicle and Namibian citizenship.

Required skills

• Advanced computer literacy – MS Office Suite.
