Gender Equality & Social Inclusion Specialist (Non-Key Expert)

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Non‑Key Expert to embed gender equality and social inclusion throughout the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme. The specialist will ensure that programme activities are inclusive, gender‑responsive and provide equitable access to the opportunities generated by the cooperation.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate gender equality and social inclusion considerations systematically across all programme activities.
• Ensure inclusive participation, gender‑responsive implementation and equitable access to opportunities generated by Africa‑EU space cooperation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in gender studies, social sciences, development studies or a related field.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is an asset.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in gender equality, social inclusion or inclusive development in international cooperation.
• At least 4 years of experience designing and applying gender‑responsive approaches in donor‑funded programmes, including gender analysis, sex‑disaggregated indicators and inclusive stakeholder participation.
