Trainee Financial Advisor

About the role

Momentum Metropolitan Namibia is looking for a motivated Trainee Financial Advisor to join its sales team in Windhoek. The role focuses on attracting, acquiring and retaining clients by offering tailored financial products and advice that support long‑term financial wellness.

Key responsibilities

• Engage prospective clients, present product features and benefits aligned with their financial needs.
• Conduct affordability and financial‑wellness analyses to recommend suitable solutions.
• Calculate and advise on tax and legal implications of product choices.
• Capture client information accurately in the system and complete all required administrative and reporting tasks.
• Meet production, quality and conversion targets while adhering to compliance and legislative requirements.
• Handle client queries within agreed service levels, escalating when necessary.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years experience in a financial‑advice role (essential) and 3 years in the financial services industry (desirable).
• Bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning, Business, Finance, Economics or equivalent.
• Relevant certifications such as a Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance and CFP or equivalent registration.
• Strong knowledge of the financial services sector and applicable legislation.
