Salesperson – Retail Sales & Customer Service

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, result‑driven Salesperson to join our retail team. The role focuses on selling products, delivering excellent customer service, and building lasting relationships that support the company’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct sales activities to generate revenue and meet assigned targets.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products.
• Maintain accurate cash and credit transaction records in line with company policy.
• Attract new customers and retain existing ones through effective merchandising and service.
• Provide a customer‑centric experience at all touch points.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 education.
• At least 12 months of sales experience, preferably in a retail environment.
• Strong teamwork, self‑motivation and initiative.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow business policies and procedures.

Required skills

• Basic retail knowledge.
• Extensive product knowledge across multiple categories.
• Customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to handle cash and credit processes.
