About the role

The Sales Support Consultant (B5) in Omuthiya will act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, providing accurate information and guidance while supporting the Personal Banker in managing client portfolios. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality service, identifying cross‑sell opportunities and ensuring clients are informed of relevant banking changes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide operational assistance to Personal Bankers, including risk‑management support for client portfolios.
• Handle routine and administrative tasks for a defined client portfolio.
• Keep clients updated on bank‑related changes that affect them.
• Promote transactional products and flag cross‑sell opportunities for the banker.
• Maintain up‑to‑date client records and monitor portfolio performance.
• Support overall branch objectives by contributing to risk mitigation and sales targets.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in finance, banking or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in customer service or sales within a financial institution.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work independently, self‑start and handle Saturday work schedules.
