Salaried Financial Advisor – Insurance Intermediary

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a motivated Salaried Financial Advisor to join its team in Namibia. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality service to existing customers while actively identifying and securing new business opportunities within the insurance and financial services sector.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional advice and support to customers, processing cases and resolving complex queries.
• Identify sales opportunities, conduct follow‑up actions, and record interactions in the CRM system.
• Prepare and deliver tailored presentations to decision‑makers, setting clear objectives for each sales call.
• Develop and execute relationship‑management plans for prospective accounts.
• Monitor market and sales data for a defined geographic region to uncover growth opportunities.
• Represent Old Mutual at business events, gathering market intelligence and enhancing brand visibility.

Required profile

• Namibian citizenship with Grade 12 (minimum 21 points) including commercial or business subjects.
• At least 3 years experience as an insurance intermediary or in a related financial‑services role.
• Clear criminal and credit check, valid driver’s licence, and ability to work under pressure while maintaining a professional image.
• Strong planning, organising, time‑management, networking, interpersonal and communication skills.

Required skills

• Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Experience using a CRM system for customer data management.
