Patient Coordinator – Remote (US EST)

About the role

The Patient Intake & Care Coordinator serves as the welcoming first point of contact for prospective patients. Working remotely, the role focuses on delivering a supportive, patient‑centered experience through SMS and phone conversations, guiding individuals from initial inquiry to a scheduled consultation. The position requires consistent on‑call availability during US Eastern business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to inbound SMS and phone inquiries from prospective patients.
• Conduct warm, empathetic intake conversations to understand patient needs and goals.
• Schedule consultations using Calendly and internal systems.
• Accurately capture patient details and notes in CRM and EMR platforms.
• Perform timely follow‑ups to nurture engagement and support scheduling.
• Maintain organized documentation while ensuring confidentiality and data accuracy.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in patient intake, care coordination, medical front desk, or healthcare customer support.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an empathetic, patient‑focused approach.
• Ability to work in a structured on‑call environment with consistent responsiveness.
• Prior remote work experience and fluency with collaboration tools (Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana, etc.).
