Occupational Therapist

About the role

The Occupational Therapist role at 2CooM is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Windhoek. You will assess clients’ functional abilities, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence‑based interventions to enhance daily living, work, and social participation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients across the lifespan.
• Design and implement client‑centered rehabilitation programs.
• Document progress and maintain accurate electronic records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Educate clients and families on strategies that promote independence and well‑being.
• Ensure all services comply with professional standards and relevant regulations.

Required profile

• Recognized degree in Occupational Therapy and eligibility for registration or licensure.
• Experience in clinical or community‑based OT settings, preferably with diverse client populations.
• Strong foundation in occupational therapy and rehabilitation principles.
• Knowledge of medical and clinical practices that support safe therapeutic interventions.
• Interest or experience in pediatric OT and family‑centered care.
• Ability to work collaboratively, manage time effectively, and uphold professional ethics and confidentiality.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy for electronic documentation and use of digital tools.
