Guest Relations Supervisor

About the role

The Guest Relations Supervisor is the face of the hotel, blending front‑desk and concierge duties to create a seamless, personalised experience for every guest. You will lead daily operations, support your team, and uphold the Avani brand standards throughout the guest journey.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise front office and concierge activities on a daily basis.
• Oversee efficient and accurate guest check‑in and check‑out processes.
• Assist team members operationally to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Anticipate guest needs, provide tailored concierge recommendations, and handle enquiries, requests, and complaints promptly.
• Drive guest satisfaction, monitor online reviews, and ensure timely follow‑ups.
• Identify upselling opportunities to contribute to revenue generation.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel services, rates, facilities, and local attractions.
• Conduct shift briefings and facilitate clear communication within the team.
• Coach, mentor, and guide staff to achieve high performance.
• Coordinate with all departments to guarantee a cohesive guest experience.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in Front Office, Concierge, or Guest Relations within a hospitality setting.
• Previous supervisory experience is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent guest‑service orientation and passion for hospitality.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective problem‑solving skills and composure under pressure.
• Good organisational and time‑management capabilities.

Required skills

• Familiarity with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and guest‑service technology.
