Freight Controllers – Pro-Parcel (2 positions)

About the role

The Freight Controller role supports the depot operations of FP du Toit Transport Group in Tsumeb, handling parcel sorting, loading and documentation for the Pro‑Parcel division.

Key responsibilities

• Sort, pick, verify and pack consignments, applying barcode labels.
• Scan consignments and compare waybills with client documentation.
• Load and unload vehicles efficiently, reporting any damages or anomalies.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area and adhere to health, safety and security procedures.

Required profile

• Valid Grade 10/12 certificate and Namibian citizenship.
• 1‑2 years of relevant experience (advantageous but not mandatory).
• Physically fit to handle large and heavy freight.
• Police clearance certificate issued within the last three months.

Required skills

• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency in English and Afrikaans.
• Ability to work overtime, shifts and under pressure.
