Field Sales Executive – Transport & Logistics

About the role

The Field Sales Executive will act as the commercial face of CamelThorn Freight Forwarding, driving revenue growth by acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts within the transport and logistics sector.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities in freight forwarding, transport and logistics.
• Achieve agreed sales, revenue and profitability targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, acting as the primary commercial contact.
• Prepare, present and follow up on quotations, proposals and rate agreements.
• Negotiate commercial terms and service agreements in line with company objectives.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract award and implementation.
• Monitor and report on sales activities, pipeline health and conversion rates.
• Support customer onboarding, including credit applications and contract documentation.
• Provide market intelligence, competitive analysis and customer insights to support business expansion.
