Debriefing Intern – Tsumeb Depot

About the role

The Debriefing Intern will support the Tsumeb Depot operations, reporting to the Depot Manager. This role involves handling waybills, debriefing drivers, and providing basic customer service. The intern will gain hands‑on experience in depot operations and develop skills in logistics documentation and client communication.

Key responsibilities

• POD Administration
• Capturing of waybills
• Debriefing of drivers
• Basic customer service
• Ensure all consignments are captured immediately upon receipt
• Assist with verifying missing or incomplete information on waybills
• Assist with contacting clients to verify or correct information as required
• Alert supervisor/manager about stock levels
• Perform any other duties related to the Debriefing Intern role

Required profile

• Valid Grade 12 certificate (minimum 25 points)
• Final‑year Bachelor of Logistics and Supply Chain Management student
• Strong attention to detail
• Good problem‑solving abilities
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Computer literacy
• Ability to multitask and work independently
• Friendly disposition with exceptional interpersonal skills
• Above‑average organizational skills
• Sober habits
• Police clearance certificate not older than three months
• Namibian citizenship
