Compliance Contractor – Financial Crime Monitoring

About the role

Join FNB in Windhoek as a Compliance Contractor supporting the business unit with temporary operational duties. You will help maintain service continuity while safeguarding the integrity of the financial system.

Key responsibilities

• Perform sanctions, PIP and adverse media checks.
• Analyze patterns to identify suspicious activity and support escalation decisions such as STR/SAR filings.
• Ensure compliance with AML/CFT frameworks, internal policies and processes.

Required profile

• Grade 12 certificate or a diploma/certificate in compliance (advantageous).
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar banking or financial industry environment.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and commitment to ethical conduct.

Required skills

• Knowledge of AML/CFT regulations and sanctions screening.
• Ability to conduct thorough investigations and document findings accurately.
