About the role

The Branch Manager will lead a high‑performing team at the Keetmanshoop branch, delivering exceptional client service and driving business growth. This role focuses on building strong client relationships, ensuring compliance with risk and operational standards, and fostering a collaborative, client‑centric culture aligned with Nedbank’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop staff to execute the business strategy and achieve product and service targets.
• Ensure delivery of quality client engagements, meeting turnaround and compliance standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with low‑ to high‑value clients, understanding their personal, household and business needs.
• Identify sales and solution opportunities, creating client advocates.
• Manage escalated client complaints and ensure agile resolution.
• Monitor team performance, conduct regular reviews and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain adherence to risk, credit, and regulatory policies, completing required compliance training.
• Continuously improve team efficiency, service delivery and client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in banking or financial services, with a track record of achieving targets.
• Strong client‑service orientation and ability to build trust with diverse client segments.
• Excellent coaching, mentoring and performance‑management skills.
• Solid understanding of risk, credit and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to analyse client needs and deliver tailored financial solutions.
