Trainee Financial Advisor

About the role

Momentum Metropolitan is looking for a motivated Trainee Financial Advisor to join its sales team in Ondangwa, Namibia. You will work under the guidance of the Sales Manager, learning how to market and sell accredited insurance policies to both existing and prospective clients.

Key responsibilities

• Source, develop and grow an individual client base through networking, prospecting and referrals.
• Meet clients in person to provide tailored insurance advice.
• Manage and strengthen internal and external relationships.
• Provide ongoing advice to existing clients to promote retention.

Required profile

• Matric/Grade 12 qualification.
• A degree in Marketing, Business Management or an equivalent qualification.
• Relevant industry qualifications such as a NAMFISA licence; COP qualification is an advantage.
• Understanding of the Namibian insurance industry.
• Valid police conduct certificate.
