Heavy Vehicle Driver (3501-9000 kg)

About the role

The company is looking for a reliable driver to provide safe, prompt and efficient delivery services to its store clients. You will be responsible for transporting goods without breakages or shortages while representing the brand’s values on the road.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver goods to designated stores and clients.
• Ensure the vehicle is neatly packed and loaded correctly.
• Prevent damages and breakages during transit.
• Supervise and assist with loading activities.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspection checks and report any defects.
• Maintain the vehicle in good working condition.
• Supply correct quantities and required supplies for each delivery.
• Implement cost‑reduction measures for vehicle operation.
• Authorize delivery notes and collect cash‑on‑delivery (COD) monies.
• Provide courteous customer service and uphold company culture.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 education.
• Valid Code 10 (Heavy Vehicle) or Code 8 (Light Vehicle) driver’s licence.
• At least 2 years of relevant driving experience.
