Professional Engineer – Roads & Highway

About the role

We are seeking a Professional Engineer to join our Roads & Highway division in Namibia. Reporting to the Section Manager, you will provide independent engineering services across multidisciplinary projects, ensuring high‑quality design, delivery and project close‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Develop engineering designs, drawings and models using Autodesk Civil 3D, CAD and BIM workflows.
• Prepare clear technical reports and documentation meeting quality standards.
• Review and take responsibility for work produced by engineers and technicians.
• Supervise inspections of constructed works, verify compliance with designs and propose remedial actions.
• Support project budgeting, resource planning and contract administration including variations and claims.
• Manage sub‑consultants and mentor junior staff to ensure timely, high‑quality deliverables.
• Engage with clients, present technical work and contribute to bid preparation and business development.

Required profile

• Qualified professional engineer with experience in road and highway projects.
• Strong understanding of design standards, quality assurance and BIM coordination.
• Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
