Senior Teller – Lüderitz

About the role

The Senior Teller will deliver a unique client experience at the Lüderitz branch, handling enquiries, teller transactions and banking requirements while identifying cross‑sell opportunities. The role supports branch objectives and ensures compliance with risk and legislative standards.

Key responsibilities

• Authenticate clients and transactions to prevent fraud and losses.
• Mitigate risks, meet legislative requirements and take corrective actions as needed.
• Provide high‑quality client service and address identified client needs.
• Issue VISA application letters upon client request.
• Balance and secure branch cash stock and maintain accurate records.
• Promote Nedbank’s culture, brand and transformation initiatives.
• Educate clients on cost‑effective self‑service channels.
• Identify quality sales leads and enable cross‑selling without providing advice.
• Achieve individual and branch usage targets.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
• 6‑12 months experience in client service within a financial institution or as a bank teller.
• Understanding of customer service principles, branch processes, product offerings and compliance requirements.
