About the role
The Multi‑Skilled Consultant will be based in the Oshikango branch of Nedbank, delivering a unique client experience by handling teller transactions, responding to enquiries, and supporting cross‑sell opportunities while ensuring risk controls and contributing to branch objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Process withdrawals, deposits, and transfers for clients.
- Manage cash bookings and daily cash account checks.
- Balance daily cash and secure branch stock, including cards.
- Prepare documentation for inter‑bank transfers.
- Provide world‑class service by greeting clients, listening, and asking relevant questions.
- Identify sales leads and refer clients for cross‑selling without providing advice.
- Handle all client account enquiries and maintain accurate customer records (opening, closing, stop payments, file changes).
- Issue account statements, credit cards, and encode bank cards.
- Perform daily balancing of working stock.
Required profile
- Grade 12 (minimum 25 points) and a diploma in business or banking‑related studies.
- At least six months of customer‑facing experience in a retail environment (advantageous).
- Strong problem‑solving ability and a customer‑oriented attitude.
- Willingness to work on Saturdays.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
