Casework Coordinator – Refugee Support Services

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a solutions‑driven Casework Coordinator to oversee the delivery of high‑quality services to Refugee Support Services (RSS) funded clients. In this role you will ensure that each client receives comprehensive assistance—including public benefits, legal support, employment programs, and health or mental‑health care—aligned with IRC policies and donor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate RSS‑funded case management programming to ensure timely, high‑quality service delivery in line with IRC policies and donor requirements.
• Assign cases and service tasks based on staff roles, caseload capacity, and client needs, maintaining continuity and consistency of services.
• Facilitate client access to follow‑up services such as public benefits, legal support, employment programs, SSI, and health or mental‑health care.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal teams and community organizations to provide seamless resource access.
• Support the development and implementation of new or expanded RSS programming based on donor guidance and emerging client needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting, regularly monitoring program performance and addressing quality issues.
• Recruit, train, and support program staff, fostering an inclusive, trauma‑informed workplace.
• Represent IRC in community and partner meetings and contribute to broader program goals.

Required profile

• High school diploma (required); bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum two years of relevant experience, preferably in refugee resettlement or Refugee Support Services.
• Fluent English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
