Territory Manager – General Trade (Namibia)

About the role

The Territory Manager (Network Business Specialist) is responsible for optimizing the performance of a portfolio of independent service stations across Namibia. Working in a highly competitive, margin‑constrained environment, the role balances dealer autonomy with brand standards, compliance, and commercial results.

Key responsibilities

• Manage commercial aspects of dealer contracts, including implementation, renewals, transfers, and terminations.
• Onboard new dealers, ensure smooth operational transitions, and monitor receivables for timely collection.
• Conduct at least 15 site visits per month, spending 70% of time in the field to support and monitor stations.
• Support network development by identifying new business opportunities and collaborating with Retail Investment and Development teams.
• Monitor key performance indicators (e.g., GMVC), analyse monthly contribution accounts, and report deviations against budget.
• Prepare annual P&L forecasts, recommend rental structures, and manage dealer financial health.
• Ensure compliance with contractual maintenance responsibilities and drive implementation of network standards across forecourt, shop, food, and car‑wash operations.
• Lead promotions, activations, and dealer performance improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing dealer relationships in a retail or fuel‑station environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and KPIs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently in the field and travel frequently across the territory.
