About the role

IDinsight is seeking qualified Social Scientists, Economists, or Researchers to join its Technical Team. The role involves applying quantitative and qualitative research methods to support a diverse portfolio of development projects worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement rigorous research studies, including randomized evaluations and machine‑learning analyses.
• Assess methodological trade‑offs given client constraints such as time, budget, and political context.
• Provide evidence‑based recommendations to help clients improve program design and impact.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across sectors like agriculture, health, education, and financial inclusion.
• Document findings and contribute to knowledge‑sharing tools for broader social impact.

Required profile

• Strong background in social science, economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience handling complex data sets and conducting rigorous impact evaluations.
• Ability to quickly understand program objectives and translate them into research designs.
• Excellent critical‑thinking skills and comfort working on varied problems.
