Senior IT Audit Manager

About the role

The Senior IT Audit Manager will lead and oversee the audit process for a portfolio of audits, ensuring independent and objective assurance that supports client‑centric risk management. This role combines strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership to deliver high‑quality audit outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a risk‑based assurance plan, feed it into the portfolio for review and approval, and input approved projects into the audit system.
• Manage the creation of audit project scopes, coordinate with IA specialists, and obtain executive sign‑off before communicating with auditees.
• Identify and report practices that negatively affect client experience, providing recommendations for improvement.
• Maintain a comprehensive risk assessment covering all risk types to inform audit planning and reporting.
• Influence risk culture within the business area through audit projects and stakeholder engagement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Information Systems, IT or a related field.
• Professional auditing qualification such as CISA or CIA (essential).
• 5‑7 years of experience planning and executing audits, managing senior‑level stakeholders, and leading audit teams.
• Project management experience and detailed knowledge of banking systems, applications, and modern internal auditing practices are advantageous.
• Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
