Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to work on‑site in Windhoek, collaborating closely with engineering teams to design, implement and maintain both development and production infrastructure. The role focuses on automation, CI/CD pipelines, observability and incident response while driving best‑practice DevOps processes.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain Kubernetes deployments for OTA services, including Helm chart management.
• Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform/OpenTofu and AWS services (EKS, S3, VPC, RDS, IAM, Route53).
• Build, maintain and improve GitLab CI/CD pipelines, container builds and automated testing workflows.
• Enhance observability through metrics, logging, alerting and post‑incident analysis.
• Collaborate with teammates to evolve deployment strategies, database migrations, safe rollouts and outage investigations.

Required profile

• Advanced English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Self‑directed and able to tackle loosely defined problems without constant supervision.
